Experience
I have been in the education field for over 13 years working primarily one-on-one with students in a private setting. I attended Indiana University then earned my Masters in the Arts of Teaching from National Louis University. Prior to my tutoring experience, I was a Chicago Public School teacher. I chose to pursue tutoring because I feel I have the ability to motivate students and manipulate math problems so that the student can get a better understanding of the topic. My present case load includes students from Deerfield High School, Highland Park High School, New Trier, CJHS, Lake Forest, Stevenson, GBN, GBS and North Shore Country Day. I have contributed to students getting into U. of I., Wisconsin, Indiana, Boulder,and Denver (just to name a few). I am committed to helping your child succeed. I take on my students like they are my own children so it is important that I help each one perform to the best of his/her ability.
