I graduated from high school in June and will attend Stanford in the fall. As a student myself, I have always appreciated good teachers. Moreover, because I am a student, I truly understand effective and ineffective teaching strategies. My goal with every session is to motivate the student and make him/her see the logic behind the concept. I teach all levels of math through single-variable calculus and all levels of French and Spanish through AP. I took the AP Calculus BC exam in 2015 and scored a 5. I have experience working 1:1 with students, and my goal for each session is to show the student the inherent logic and elegance behind math. I took the AP French Language exam in 2015 and scored a 5 on the exam. I have also served as a teaching assistant for French 2 and French AP classes. I taught full-length classes, made presentations, and led discussions in the target language. I have been ranked as an Advanced-level speaker by the official Oral Proficiency Evaluation administered by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). I took the AP Spanish Language exam in May and have served as a teacher's assistant in Spanish 2 classes.
